This blog has been on a hiatus. But it was never forgotten (by me, at least). It was always destined to come back with vengeance. So here’s the warning shot across the bow of your 5” phone screen: Yolo69420 is coming back with ferocity to offend you, write way too many words about bowel habits, and occupy regular minutes of your precious time with random posts that are likely of no utility in your day-to-day life. You’ve been warned. While I haven’t really been writing, I’ve been taking notes. Posts are coming. Also, I figure that by threatening to post a lot, I might just actually do that.
I’d tell you that I’ve been in some deep pit of indifference, in a creative desert, a place devoid of motivation or ability produce art, but that would almost come across as whining. Apathy is not the best state of mind to live in, at least not indefinitely. But it’s part of the experience of living. And I’m semi-convinced it can contribute positively to future self-expression.
TLDR: I’ve been in a creative funk. Fuck the funk, let’s make shit again.
